Job summary

CELINE in Paris seeks a Retail Performance Analyst to support global retail reporting, analysis and improvements to tools and processes. You will help monitor store performance, track sales, traffic, conversion, and productivity, and prepare weekly and monthly KPI briefings for regional teams.

Working with Retail Operations, IS/IT, Data, HR and Finance to develop data-driven insights, test Power BI dashboards, and explore AI-enabled workflows that save time while ensuring data accuracy.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail performance analysis, finance, or consulting.
• Strong Excel & PowerPoint skills; working knowledge of Power BI.
• Interest in AI and data-driven decision making.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, international environment.

Responsibilities

• Store performance enhancement & monitoring: Prepare accurate weekly and monthly performance reports and presentations.
• Track sales, traffic, conversion, UPT and cross-selling, highlighting trends and variances.
• Analyse store and staff productivity, including net sales per square meter and per staff by zone.
• Serve as the key point of contact for retail data and provide regional teams with data extracts, analyses and follow-up materials.
• Help analyse links between staffing, traffic, productivity and conversion.
• Check data quality and maintain reporting definitions, files and documentation.
• Help Data and IS&T teams test and improve Power BI dashboards and reporting tools.
• Gather requirements and feedback; maintain project documentation and action trackers.
• Help develop and test data-driven retail decision-making tools.
• Track milestones and help assess initiatives' impact on business metrics.
• Coordinate inputs from Retail Operations, IS/IT, Data, HR, Finance and regions.
• Help prepare retail user guides, training materials and communications.
• Identify opportunities to save time and simplify recurring reporting, analysis and administrative tasks using AI tools; help test practical use cases and assess efficiency gains, while checking output accuracy and respecting data confidentiality.
• Use approved AI tools daily to draft KPI commentary, summarize regional reports and prepare presentation outlines, validating findings against source data.
• Use AI assistance to build and troubleshoot Excel formulas and data-cleaning steps, testing results before use.
• Create reusable prompts and help test simple AI-assisted workflows for recurring tasks; document time savings and share effective practices.
• Follow retail, analytics and technology trends and share ideas.
• Support team-led pilots and continuous improvement.
• Identify reporting and process issues and suggest improvements.

YOUR WORK ENVIRONMENT

Reporting to the Global Retail Performance Manager within the Retail & Omni Performance & Operations Department, you will support global retail reporting, analysis and improvements to tools and processes.

Job Responsibilities

Store performance enhancement & monitoring

Profile

Keys for success Education: Business School or University Experience: First experience, internship or apprenticeship in analysis, retail performance, finance, consulting or a related field Exposure to retail, luxury or fashion is a plus Competencies: Strong interest in AI and a hands-on, improvement-oriented mindset, with an ability to spot opportunities to work more efficiently and experiment with AI tools to develop practical solutions Analytical curiosity and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced, international environment Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with guidance Ability to interpret data and communicate key findings clearly Rigorous, detail-oriented and comfortable with figures Good Excel and PowerPoint skills; knowledge of Power BI is a plus Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset Languages: French and English Workplace: Paris 2ème Potential starting date: February 2027
