Job summary

Servier is seeking a senior R&D Communications Director to design and deploy a comprehensive communications strategy for its R&D function. The role focuses on enhancing reputation, attractiveness, and engagement across internal and external audiences, reporting to the Global Chief Communications Officer.

Based near Saclay, the Director will align with R&D strategy, showcase science and innovation, and drive visibility of priorities across global sites.

Qualifications

• More than five years' experience as a Communications Director in a large global company.
• More than 15 years' experience in an international, technical or scientific environment.
• Rigorous and organized with strategic thinking and operational delivery.
• Creative, collaborative and able to work with R&D experts across functions.
• Understanding of pharmaceutical industry challenges and crisis management experience is desirable.
• Excellent writing and interpersonal skills, and ability to work in an international environment.

Responsibilities

• Advise EVP R&D and support internal and external communications to extend reach and impact.
• Structure management messages and opportunities for employees across R&D.
• Implement a global internal communications plan for worldwide R&D.
• Identify high-potential topics and turn them into impactful communications initiatives.
• Lead communications across Servier's international R&D ecosystem and showcase laboratories as centers of excellence.
