A global automotive technology provider is seeking a Global Purchasing Indirect Manager to drive purchasing performance and align domain strategies with Supply Chain goals. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree, at least six years of experience in strategic purchasing, and strong negotiation and analytical skills. Responsibilities include developing cost-saving initiatives and managing supplier relationships effectively, contributing to the overall transformation in mobility. Fluency in English is required, with additional languages as a plus.

This position can be located at any OPmobility location worldwide.
Ensure Purchasing domain strategy is fully aligned to meet the function Supply Chain strategy and priorities for a total cost of ownership impact.
Drive purchasing performance for the commodities of the Domain either by acting directly or by influencing / managing actors in all Regions and in all OPmobility entities.
Pursue excellence across all dimensions of Domain management, incl.
Develop together with business functions and implement category strategies for the Domain:
Plan, structure and execute cross‑BG sourcings in close collaboration with internal stakeholders:
Animate the identification and implementation of cost savings initiatives for the Domain:
Master’s degree (Technical + Business Education preferred).
Minimum of six years of experience in strategic purchasing or a similar role, in an international/multicultural environment. Background in operational supply chain (Transport, Packaging, Warehouse) is required for the SC domain.
Ability to design and deploy powerful category strategies, in line with Group strategic objectives.
Strong experience in leading complex contract negotiations and supplier management.
Capacity to streamline processes and tools.
Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
Knowledge of financial mechanisms (P&L, budgeting process, etc.). Ability to analyse financial data, perform cost analysis and make recommendations for decision‑making.
Mastery of procurement practices.
For SC domain: a sound knowledge of Transport & warehouse operations & if possible, Packaging is required.
Strong leadership and change management skills, capacity to influence at all levels of the organisation.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Clear and effective communication to convey procurement strategies and decisions to various stakeholders.
Fluent in English (other languages such as Spanish appreciated).
