Job summary

MVG – Microwave Vision Group – is seeking a Global Procurement Director to lead worldwide procurement operations for engineer-to-order manufacturing environments. The role reports to the VP of Operations and drives strategic sourcing, supplier risk management, cost reduction, and global process standardization across international sites.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in procurement, sourcing and supply chain
• Experience leading remote, international procurement teams
• Proven cost reduction and supplier risk management experience

Responsibilities

• Lead a global procurement team of ~12 buyers across multiple regions
• Oversee project buying for customized global systems and services
• Manage site-level procurement performance, supplier negotiation and risk management
• Define and implement MVG sourcing initiatives to deliver cost reductions
• Drive strategic sourcing and negotiations for RF components, mechanical parts
• Define global procurement tools, processes, and best practices
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and PM to align procurement with product lifecycles
