Job summary

nVent is seeking a procurement professional to lead sourcing for the Andrézieux site, overseeing multimillion-dollar direct material spend. You will analyze international markets, develop regional category strategies, and drive supplier negotiations with both national and international partners.

The role collaborates closely with Engineering and Operations to ensure supply continuity and cost efficiency. You will manage supplier performance, lead audits, and contribute to global sourcing

Qualifications

• Experience in strategic or technical procurement, ideally Electrical/Mechanical.
• Strong background in supplier selection, price/contract negotiations, cost analysis, and international supplier management.
• Ability to read BOMs, technical drawings, and specifications; collaboration with Engineering/T departments.

Responsibilities

• Manage sourcing activities for the Andrézieux site and oversee material spend.
• Analyze global supply markets, supplier performance, and risk developments.
• Develop regional category strategies aligned with global sourcing initiatives.
• Lead negotiations with national and international suppliers and implement second-source strategies.
• Drive cost management initiatives and identify sustainable cost reductions.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Operations on technical clarifications and cross-functional projects.
• Report on supplier performance metrics and lead quarterly scorecards.
