Job summary

Ipsen Biopharm Ltd seeks a Global Senior Safety Physician for Migraine to lead safety surveillance and risk management across development and in-market activities. The role interfaces with Global Asset Teams, Clinical Development, and regulatory teams to ensure patient safety and compliant submissions.

The candidate will provide medical leadership, manage safety strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive safety decisions and ongoing pharmacovigilance in Oncology,

Qualifications

• MD, with several years of clinical experience exercising medical judgment as a physician.
• Fluent in English; additional European language such as French is preferable.
• Experience in leading Clinical Development Teams is ideal.
• Pharmaceutical industry experience in clinical development.
• Experience in leading Cross functional Global Product Teams, Safety Teams and Clinical Development Teams.
• Knowledge of product development processes and cross-functional teamwork.
• Working knowledge of pharmacovigilance legislations worldwide.
• Prior experience with NDA/BLA or equivalent regulatory submissions, or experience working in a Regulatory Agency reviewing submission file.

Responsibilities

• Represent Global Patient Safety as a member of the Global Asset Team and Clinical Development Team for one or more products, and be the contact for safety-related deliverables.
• Accountable for safety surveillance and integrated safety information to warrant safe and effective use of Ipsen products.
• Lead development and maintenance of Risk Management Plans and risk minimisation activities for assigned products.
• Provide safety expertise to global filing teams and regulatory submissions.
• Lead signal detection and evaluation activities and collaboration with study teams on safety in trials.
• Represent safety in internal/external meetings and audits.
