Back Market in Bordeaux is seeking an HRIS Specialist reporting to the Head of HRIS to own the Workday ecosystem across 17 countries, with ongoing expansion of the full HR tool stack.

You will configure, test and document Workday modules (HCM, Absence, Talent, Advanced Compensation, Help and Journeys), manage releases, troubleshoot issues, and drive governance for ATS, expense management and other tools, partnering with Tech and external vendors.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years hands-on Workday configuration experience.
• Proficiency in Workday HCM, reporting, and security configuration.
• Experience administering at least one other HR tool end-to-end.
• Ability to translate business needs into system requirements.
• Structured, data-accurate, with documentation discipline.
• Diplomatic when mapping scopes and prioritising requests.
• Fluent in English; working language of the team.

Responsabilités

• Configure, test and document Workday across HCM, Absence, Talent, Advanced Compensation, Help and Journeys.
• Own the release management cycle: test impacts and implement features.
• Troubleshoot workflow issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Map and govern non-Workday HR tools (ATS, expense management, LMS).
• Be the reference for tool configuration, users, and vendor relationships.
• Collaborate with Tech for integration design between Workday and other systems.
• Explore automation/AI possibilities and prototype where feasible.
• Enable the Back Market community with training and documentation.
