Job summary

Limagrain Vegetable Seeds seeks a Global Head of Finance to steer the financial strategy of a multicultural Business Unit. You will report to the CEO of Vilmorin-Mikado and collaborate with the LVS Head of Finance to enable strategic decision-making across Europe and Asia.

You will drive all financial and legal activities, lead a transformation from reporting to true financial steering, and actively contribute to Ambition 2030 at Limagrain Group level.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting; CA preferred.
• 10+ years in CFO or senior finance leadership in international environments.
• Experience managing matrix organizations and multicultural teams.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Experience in the seeds sector or life-sciences industry is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems; deployment experience appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Implement the financial strategy of Limagrain Vegetable Seeds within the BU in collaboration with the StratCom.
• Act as a strategic business partner to the CEO and leadership team, providing analyses and financial scenarios to support decisions.
• Lead the consolidation of data for budget, forecasts, and the 3-year Business Plan.
• Oversee long-term planning, cost control, KPIs, internal policies, and performance monitoring.
• Lead and develop Finance and Legal teams across France, Japan, and regional subsidiaries.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, GAAP, local regulations, and Group standards.
• Recruit, mentor, and support key talents within a matrix organization.
• Support deployment of ERP, BI, EPM and AI tools.
• Advise managers and senior leaders on financial topics and asset management.
• Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and internal partners.
