Octapharma Pharmazeutika Produktionsges.m.b.H. seeks a Group Principal Engineer to shape engineering strategy for Greenfield developments across Europe and beyond. You will provide technical direction, set standards, and support major investment decisions to ensure compliant, efficient engineering solutions.

The role requires 15+ years in engineering (pharma preferred) with GMP knowledge and strong stakeholder influence. Travel ~30% across sites in Europe and France.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• 15+ years of broad engineering experience, preferably in pharma.
• Technical expertise in complex engineering solutions and new tech.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, regulatory requirements and risk management.
• Ability to shape engineering strategies and define technical standards.
• Business judgment to influence senior stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel internationally (around 30%).

Responsabilités

• Shape and lead the engineering strategy for Greenfield developments.
• Review major investment plans focusing on Greenfield projects and risk.
• Define engineering standards and requirements for projects.
• Act as a technical advisor across the organization.
• Evaluate new technologies and methodologies for improvements.
• Provide technical direction and mentor junior engineers.
• Drive standardization across production lines for learning.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements.
• Oversee budget within the area of responsibility.
