Job summary

L'Oréal is seeking a senior sustainability leader based in Clichy to drive the group’s decarbonization strategy. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to accelerate the transition toward a low-carbon economy.

You will manage climate transition plans, harmonize product carbon footprint methodologies, and ensure alignment with evolving regulations and standards. English fluency is essential for global coordination.

Qualifications

• 7 years of sustainability experience in climate science or product sustainability strategy.
• 3+ years in operations or brands is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of SBTi, GHG Protocol, ISO 14067.
• Advanced data analytics and scenario modeling capabilities.
• Fluency in English is essential.

Responsibilities

• Support the Climate Strategy Director in managing the group climate transition plan and updating CO2 trajectories.
• Harmonize a robust product carbon footprint methodology aligned with international standards and group practices.
• Engage with multifunctional stakeholders and represent L'Oréal externally to promote methodologies and contribute to industry best practices.
• Collaborate with Métiers (R&I, Sourcing, Packaging, Supply, IT & Digital) and Sustainable Finance to drive decarbonization efforts.
