Alstom is seeking a Senior Commodity Leader for Corporate Services to manage global procurement strategies and contract negotiations across internal stakeholders worldwide. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration with HR, Communication, Finance, and Legal, and aims to deliver value for money and compliant sourcing practices.

The successful candidate will coordinate with global, regional, and local procurement networks and drive supplier performance improvements to meet program goals

Qualifications

• Educational degree in business or engineering preferred.
• 5–8 years experience in international purchasing within an industrial environment.
• Strong buying and negotiating expertise.
• Capability to build a robust procurement strategy.
• Fluent English and French required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and source in line with business objectives and ALSTOM processes.
• Define and develop commodity strategy with stakeholders and product lines.
• Lead global supplier maturity and improvement initiatives.
• Negotiate contracts and frame agreements with key suppliers.
• Drive supplier performance reviews and ensure savings align with targets.
