Alstom is seeking a procurement professional in Île-de-France to lead platform strategy for key commodities, manage supplier panels, and drive QCDT performance. You will negotiate, coordinate cross-site activities, and promote ethical procurement.

You will work with commodity and platform teams to monitor savings plans and ensure alignment with corporate sustainability goals, while delivering value across sites.

Qualifications

  • Engineering or Business School master degree required.
  • Desirable: Master in Purchasing.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in procurement.
  • Experience in cross-site and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsabilités

  • Support commodity management and represent the commodity.
  • Consolidate commodity needs and inputs.
  • Build differentiation for AT through supplier innovation.
  • Participate in commodity strategy and panel elaboration.
  • Define a strategy for specific segment according to delegation.
  • Ensure effective teamwork with internal customers and stakeholders.
  • Apply the Alstom Procurement process and provide feedback.
  • Lead procurement Tender commitments and Project management.
  • Monitor site Buyer activity on specific segment.
  • Lead Savings Plan leveraging Design to Cost and volumes.

Purpose of the Job
  • Strong involvement and implementation of platform strategy for the commodity (Product agreement negotiation)
  • Manage global supplier panel relationship with assigned supplier (FA, Partnership, QBR)
  • Responsible for commodity Quality Cost Delivery & Technical (QCDT) and legal supplier performance management
  • Operational procurement responsibility on negotiation, cross sites/businesses bundling
  • Animate Saving Plan, Co2 reduction
  • Responsible of some cross functional activities on the Commodity
  • Commodity Animation with site team + platfrom team

Main Responsabilities

Support commodity management

  • Represent commodity
  • Consolidate commodity needs, inputs
  • Build and propose differentiation for AT through supplier innovation
  • Participate actively to commodity strategy and panel elaboration
  • Define a strategy for specific segment according to delegation
  • Ensure effective teamwork with internal customers and stakeholders in problem solving
  • Apply the Alstom Procurement process and provide return on experience.
  • Build Procurement Tender commitment and Project management

Monitor site Buyer activity on specific segment

  • Has an operational procurement responsibility on negotiation, cross sites/PLs bundling
  • Lead Saving Plan by leveraging Design to Cost, LCC, Volumes … (All savings levers)

Promote the Alstom Code of Ethics and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct.

Main Required Competences
  • Mandatory: Engineering or Business School master degree
  • Desirable: Master in Purchasing
Experience
  • Mandatory: Minimum 8 years experiance
  • Minimum of three years working experience in purchasing
  • curiosity /capacity to understand Technical specificity and market knowledge of the commodity
