Sompo is seeking a Global Head of Brand to lead the Branding and Communications team from our Cologne office. You will shape global brand strategy, evolve the visual identity, and ensure alignment with Sompo Holdings across markets, including Japan.

This role requires strategic leadership and collaboration across cultures. You will advise senior leaders, manage a high-performing team, and build brand measurement frameworks while overseeing budgets and external agencies.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of brand leadership experience in global organizations.

Responsabilités

• Define and lead the global brand strategy to support growth and market differentiation, with emphasis on the P&C business.
• Evolve and protect the global visual identity, ensuring brand consistency across all channels and regions.
• Serve as global brand guardian, ensuring alignment with Sompo Holdings (Japan) while adapting to local market needs.
• Advise senior leadership on brand perception, positioning and impact.
• Manage and grow a high-performing team, fostering creativity, alignment and delivery excellence.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, HR and business teams to bring the brand to life across the entire ecosystem.
• Develop and implement brand measurement frameworks, including brand health metrics and campaign effectiveness tracking.
• Manage brand budget, external brand agencies and vendors, ensuring quality, creativity and budget control.
