Job summary

SKF Group is seeking a Global Supply Chain Planner for SKF Automotive, based in Saint-Cyr-sur-Loire. You will ensure product availability across Engine, Chassis, and Heavy Duty lines by planning volumes and inventory using forecasts, orders, and capacity data.

You will collaborate with Sales, Product Line, Logistics, and Customers to optimize stock, launches, and data integrity, while supporting continuous improvement across the Supply Chain.

Qualifications

• Experience in Supply Chain and familiarity with XA, SIM, and SO99+ systems.
• Proficient in Power BI and Excel.
• Strong customer focus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and translate sales forecasts with Sales teams or Product Line Manager.
• Analyze and update sales forecasts.
• Establish inventory coverage to ensure production and service while avoiding excess stock.
• Manage production launches for the assigned product assortment and adapt them as needed.
• Ensure data accuracy across IT systems for the assigned product lines.
• Contribute to improving existing processes and developing new ones within the Supply Chain team.
• Coordinate transportation arrangements with Logistics, Sales, or suppliers.
• Act as the key contact for Customer Service and Sales.
• Resolve order-related issues with Customer Service and Sales.
• Participate in business projects including ramp-ups, ramp-downs, and new business.
