Sealed Air Corporation is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to join the Global Engineering Team, focusing on automation innovation, smart manufacturing, and industrial process optimization across EMEA plants.

You will collaborate with R&D, Process Engineering, Procurement and Operations to drive project execution, troubleshoot existing systems, and implement improvements for performance and safety, including Industry 4.0 initiatives.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Automation or related field.
• 5–8 years in industrial process control from design to commissioning.
• Fluent in French & English; willingness to travel within EMEA.
• Knowledge of CE Directives, risk assessment, PL calculations and safety design.
• Experience with FAT/SAT and project management.

Responsabilités

• Support automation and process control activities during commissioning of new industrial projects.
• Collaborate with R&D, Process Engineering, Procurement and Operations teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing automation systems and production lines.
• Propose and implement technical improvements related to performance, safety and obsolescence management.
• Contribute to the standardization of automation architectures and engineering guidelines across global teams.
• Develop scalable and reusable control solutions to accelerate deployment across plants.
• Support Smart Factory initiatives, including remote assistance tools, data historians and Industry 4.0 technologies.
• Participate in on-site commissioning activities across EMEA plants.
