Sealed Air is seeking a Senior Automation & Process Control Engineer to join the Global Engineering Team in Epernon. You will drive automation innovation and industrial optimization across multiple plants in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, collaborating with R&D, procurement and operations to deliver scalable solutions.

Your role involves commissioning activities, troubleshooting and implementing improvements, while advancing Industry 4.0 initiatives and ensuring safety and compliance across

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Automation or related field.
• 5-8 years in industrial process control from design to commissioning.
• Experience with Rockwell, Siemens and B&R PLCs.
• Experience in HMI/SCADA systems.
• Experience configuring VFDs and electrical distribution design.
• Ability to read electrical and pneumatic diagrams.
• Knowledge of CE Directives, risk assessment, PL calculations and safety design.
• Factory/plant commissioning experience (FAT/SAT).
• Knowledge of Industry 4.0 tools and networks.
• Strong communication and project management skills.

Responsabilités

• Support automation and process control during commissioning of new projects.
• Collaborate with R&D, Process Engineering, Procurement and Operations teams.
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing automation systems and production lines.
• Propose and implement improvements for performance, safety and obsolescence management.
• Contribute to standardization of automation architectures and guidelines.
• Develop scalable control solutions for deployment across plants.
• Support Smart Factory initiatives, including remote tools and data historians.
• Participate in on-site commissioning across EMEA plants.
