At Miele, a long-standing family-owned premium appliance company, we seek an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee financial reporting for Belgium, Luxembourg, France and the Netherlands. You will lead a team of five, coordinate with the Shared Service Center in Poland and the global Miele organization, and ensure compliant, high-quality financial information.

Qualifications

• Proven knowledge of accounting, tax and legal matters in an international context.
• Education in finance and accounting, preferably CFA, CPA, FA or equivalent.
• 5+ years of leadership experience and excellent people management skills.
• Strong business acumen and a commercial mindset.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively.
• Experience working in a multinational, multi-location and multilingual environment.
• Comfortable operating within a matrix organization with diverse stakeholders.
• English and French fluency (written and spoken at C1 level).

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop a team of five (3 accounting officers and 2 credit controllers).
• Strengthen capabilities, drive performance, and foster collaboration within the team, with the International Shared Service Center and across departments.
• Lead the month-end and year-end closing financial processes.
• Ensure timely, accurate and compliant reporting of financial data (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in accordance with Miele guidelines and local legislation.
• Act as the local point of contact for tax, legal and credit management related activities within the cluster.
• Ensure transfer pricing and intercompany compliance in line with Group policies.
• Act as Compliance Ambassador, safeguarding accounting integrity and financial governance.
• Contribute to project design, coordinate central and local stakeholders, and drive harmonization of financial processes across the cluster.
• Deliver pragmatic, value-driven solutions to operational needs.
