Job summary

The company is a global leader powering digital transformation for 450+ of the world’s most innovative retailers and B2B organizations. You will join the global Accounting team to ensure financial integrity across the company’s entities as it scales.

This contractor/freelance role covers monthly close, fixed asset management, payroll accuracy, tax compliance, and audit-ready reporting, with a policy of 1 day remote work per week.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in general accounting.
• Proven track record managing multi-entity and/or international accounting scopes.
• Experience preparing regulatory tax filings and working with external auditors.
• Languages: French and English at professional level.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly and annual close processes, including foreign subsidiaries and liaising with local accounting firms.
• Own fixed asset control, including depreciation and reconciliation.
• Ensure payroll accounting accuracy by booking monthly payroll entries with Controlling.
• Manage VAT declarations (France & international), CVAE, C3S, and DAS2 with Tax.
• Prepare balance sheet justifications, intercompany reconciliations, and audit-ready files.

You'll be part of our global Accounting team at the company.The team operates on a global scope, ensuring the financial integrity of the company's entities worldwide. Together, you'll be supporting accurate, timely financial reporting and contributing to the robustness of the company's finance function as the company continues to scale.

• Lead monthly and annual close processes, including managing accounts for foreign subsidiaries and liaising with local accounting firms

• Own fixed asset control (tangible, intangible, and internally generated assets), including depreciation calculations and reconciliation

• Ensure payroll accounting accuracy by booking monthly payroll entries in collaboration with the Controlling team and verifying the consistency of payroll and social charges

• Manage current tax compliance, including VAT declarations (France & international), CVAE, C3S, and DAS2, in coordination with the Tax department

• Prepare balance sheet justifications, intercompany account reconciliations, and audit-ready files for statutory auditors

What You'll Bring to the RoleExperience:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in general accounting

• Proven track record managing multi-entity and/or international accounting scopes

• Experience preparing regulatory tax filings and working with external auditors

Skills:

• Strong command of general ledger accounting and month-end close processes

• Ability to manage intercompany transactions and foreign subsidiary accounts

• Payroll accounting and social charges compliance

• Tax compliance (VAT, CVAE, C3S)

• Rigorous, autonomous, and comfortable working in a fast-scaling environment
