ixolabs.ai seeks a German Language Expert to meticulously evaluate and enhance AI-generated German content for grammatical accuracy, natural flow, and cultural appropriateness. You will refine translations and provide constructive feedback on complex sentence structures and German syntax.

Bring native-level or higher German fluency (C2), a degree in Linguistics or related field, and a proven track record in translation/editing.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in German (C2 level CEFR).
• Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Translation, German Studies, or a related field preferred.
• Deep understanding of German grammar, including cases, declensions, and sentence structure.
• Proven experience in translation, editing, or content creation in German.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to provide clear, constructive linguistic feedback.
• Familiarity with linguistic quality assurance standards or style guides is a plus.

• Provide detailed feedback on AI's understanding of complex sentence structures, compound nouns, and separable verbs.
• Evaluate linguistic data, focusing on register (formal/informal 'Sie' vs. 'du'), politeness conventions, and discourse markers.
• Identify and correct errors in AI's handling of German semantics, pragmatics, and common phrases.
