Lithosquare is seeking a Geologist to join a hybrid role based in Paris, combining fieldwork (about 20%) with office work (80%). You will support field campaigns, compile data, and contribute to QA/QC across the exploration portfolio, while collaborating with data scientists and AI engineers.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years in mineral exploration geology, a geology degree, and a data-driven mindset with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in mineral exploration geology.
• Degree in Geology or Earth Sciences.
• First significant field exposure with willingness to spend significant field time.
• Data-driven, rigorous with QA/QC and data management.
• Familiarity with GIS (QGIS, ArcGIS) and/or geological modelling software is a plus.
• Fluency in English with international exchanges.
• Valid driver’s license (Permis B) is a bonus.

About the job

As a Geologist at Lithosquare, you will play a key hybrid role at the intersection of field operation (around 20%) and office work (80%). You will support field campaign execution while actively contributing to data compilation, targeting, and QA/QC across our exploration portfolio.

This is a dynamic, cross-functional role: you will divide your time between field work (reconnaissance, sampling, drilling support) and office work in Paris, working closely with senior geologists, data scientists, and AI engineers. We are looking for someone rigorous, curious about technological innovation, and eager to learn while helping build the next generation of AI-assisted exploration tools.

What you’ll do

Reporting to the Senior Geologists and the VP Asset Development, your main responsibilities will include:

• Field Execution & Support: Support and participate in all phases of field exploration programs, including regional reconnaissance, surface sampling, geophysical surveys, and drilling campaigns. Assist with field logistics while ensuring compliance with international health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.

• Data Compilation & QA/QC: Lead geological data entry, compilation, and QA/QC processes to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of exploration datasets across all projects.

• Office Work: Assist senior geologists with geological data interpretation to support exploration targeting, field campaign planning, technical reporting, GIS mapping, data management, and project evaluation. Contribute to the preparation of maps, presentations, and technical documentation.

• Bridge Geology & AI Tech: Work closely with the tech and AI teams to test, refine, and improve Lithosquare’s AI platform, ensuring our digital tools reflect field realities and technical needs.

• Reporting & Collaboration: Prepare clear technical summaries, data visualizations, and maps for internal reviews and partner updates.

What we are looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience in mineral exploration geology

• Degree in Geology or Earth Sciences, with solid foundations in metallogeny, structural geology, or geochemistry

• First significant field exposure (mapping, sampling, or core logging) with a willingness to spend significant time in the field as required by projects

• Data-driven & Rigorous: A structured approach to data management, QA/QC, and documentation; familiarity with GIS software (QGIS, ArcGIS) and/or geological modeling software is a plus

• Tech-curious & Innovative mindset: Genuine interest in how AI and technology can transform traditional exploration methods

• Strong Communication: Ability to collaborate effectively in a multi-disciplinary team (geologists, data scientists, AI engineers), interact professionally with partners and produce clear, synthetic & high-quality deliverables

• Mission-driven: Passionate about the energy transition and solving complex physical-world challenges through innovation

• Fluency in English is required with previous exposure to international exchanges

• Valid Driver's License (Permis B) is a bonus
