About The Job

As a Geophysicist at Lithosquare, you will operate at the intersection of mineral exploration geophysics, exploration geology, and AI innovation. This is a dual role: you will drive innovation in how we integrate and interpret geophysical data into our AI platform, while directly supporting project teams in campaign design, planning and interpretation. We are looking for a senior profile – someone who brings deep expertise across mining geophysics methods, an innovative mindset to challenge and improve standard approaches, and the collaborative energy to thrive in a cross‑disciplinary team. This role also includes contributions beyond pure geophysics, as part of our integrated geology team. The role is based in Paris.

What you'll do

• Drive innovation in Lithosquare's AI technology platform: improve how geophysical data is ingested, processed and interpreted by our models
• Support project teams in geophysical campaign design, planning and execution
• Lead geophysical data interpretation across active exploration projects
• Propose and test new interpretive approaches – bring fresh thinking beyond conventional geophysics workflows
• Contribute to broader geology project work beyond pure geophysics – this is a full exploration team role
• Collaborate closely with geology and tech teams to build better AI‑powered exploration technology
• Stay current with advances in mining geophysics and bring relevant innovations to the team

What we are looking for

• 7+ years of experience in mining or mineral exploration geophysics
• Deep expertise in at least two mining geophysics methods
• Proven experience designing and managing geophysical field campaigns
• Innovative mindset – not just able to apply standard methods but to question and improve them
• Strong team player comfortable with cross‑disciplinary teams (geologists, data scientists, engineers)
• Appetite for contributing to geology work beyond pure geophysics
• Mission‑driven: a genuine passion for the energy transition and solving hard physical‑world problems through innovation
