Overview

The Brandon Friendship Centre is accepting applications for the position of Case Manager with GAP Youth Outreach.

Responsibilities
  • Provide case management support and life skills learning opportunities to youth (ages 13-29) who are at risk of becoming homeless or within their first year of homelessness in Brandon, MB.
  • Support local youths in transitioning to independent living and adulthood in a safe and planned way.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience working with vulnerable sectors, particularly youth ages 13-29.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Evidence of exceptional communication skills (written/oral) and strong organizational skills.
  • Experience preparing correspondence, budgets, reports, and maintaining files appropriately.
  • Experience with program planning and capacity building is an asset.
  • Relevant post-secondary education in a related field is an asset.
  • Ability to perform duties on a regular full-time basis with flexibility to work evenings/weekends.
  • The successful incumbent must maintain a class IV driver’s license and be willing to provide a driver’s abstract.
  • Must provide up-to-date clear criminal record check and child abuse registry check.
  • Preference given to Indigenous candidates.
