IXO Labs is seeking specialists to evaluate vulnerability tasks with real defects and demonstrably correct patches. You will construct authorized repository examples, develop patches, and document vulnerable behavior along with validation and repair criteria.

Remote assignments are scheduled by agreement, with payment per completed task and explicit acceptance criteria. Applicants should have cybersecurity experience and a background in vulnerability research or security auditing.

Qualifications

• Approximately one to two or more years in cybersecurity, a computing or related bachelor's and practical vulnerability research or security-audit experience.
• OSS-fuzz-style research, fuzzing tools, low-level code, or more than two years of security research.

IXO is engaging specialists to evaluate vulnerability tasks with a real defect and a demonstrably correct patch. Your contribution is technical work: make the reasoning inspectable, identify substantive errors and provide evidence that supports a reliable assessment.

Work you will do

• Construct authorized repository examples containing OSS-fuzz-style vulnerabilities.
• Develop and test patches that correct the defect rather than merely suppressing a symptom or bypassing a check.
• Document the vulnerable behavior, validation and repair so the task can be accepted against the agreed technical criteria.

Required background and routes

• Approximately one to two or more years in cybersecurity, a computing or related bachelor's and practical vulnerability research or security-audit experience. The experience route includes practitioners with at least one year; it is not a newly imposed two-year minimum.

Preferred background

• OSS-fuzz-style research, fuzzing tools, C/C+ or comparable low-level code and patching, or more than two years of security research.

Deliverables

Submit the completed technical artifact or assessment with its supporting evidence, explicit assumptions, reproducible checks where applicable, and concise reasons for each material judgment. Address review findings within the agreed scope.

Location and schedule

Remote assignments are scheduled by agreement, with no guaranteed weekly volume. IXO confirms the applicable timing before work.

Pay and working terms

$55/task USD. Payment is for a completed task that meets the agreed acceptance criteria. The fee, task specification and revision requirements are agreed before work; an advertised time estimate does not determine payment. Applying does not guarantee an assignment.
