Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner, is seeking an Accountant (m/f/d) based in France for a fully remote role within an international software group. You will manage day-to-day accounting for German entities and support month-end closing, VAT filings, and statutory reporting under HGB.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in accounting, knowledge of German tax rules, and fluency in German and English. This hands-on position offers a collaborative, entrepreneurial team and opportunities to improve

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of professional accounting experience including German HGB and tax requirements.
• Experience in the software, technology, or SaaS industry.
• Strong knowledge of accrual accounting, financial reconciliations, journal entries, closing procedures, and financial reporting.
• Fluency in German and English.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting for German entities.
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Prepare German VAT filings and assist with payroll tax declarations.
• Reconcile intercompany transactions and prepare financial statements.
• Develop financial KPIs and management reports.
