Kapa is hiring a software engineer to work across the stack on systems that answer thousands of developer questions daily. You will collaborate with the founding team and research engineers, scale Python-based infrastructure, and experiment with features in the analytics platform using React and Python.

The role involves working on client integrations and expanding data accessibility, with ongoing maintenance of the React SDK. A strong ML/NLP interest is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, machine learning, mathematics, statistics or a related field.
• 3+ years of software engineering experience in both backend and frontend.
• Affinity for machine learning, deep learning (including LLMs) and natural language processing.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment where things are sometimes loosely defined.

Responsabilités

• Scale the infrastructure powering the Kapa RAG engine (Python).
• Experiment with new features in the analytics platform (React + Python).
• Work on client integrations to deploy Kapa for customers (React + Python).
• Give Kapa access to new kinds of data (Python).
• Maintain the React SDK.
