Job summary

Sotheby’s Paris is seeking a Client Liaison to provide in-person support to clients and visitors, ensuring professional, detail‑oriented service in line with SLAs.

You will collaborate with specialist departments and operational teams to resolve issues, triage inquiries, and promote a positive, seamless client journey. A passion for exceptional service and the ability to manage high volumes with composure are essential. Flexibility to work weekends or evenings when required.

Qualifications

• Professional English (spoken and written).
• Experience handling high volumes of client inquiries and cases.
• Experience working against SLAs and performance targets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritise.
• Cross-department collaboration experience.

Responsibilities

• Be the welcoming face of Sotheby’s.
• Greeting clients, assisting with general enquiries and triaging to relevant departments.
• Liaising closely with Client Experience, Bids, Seller Operations, Security, Events, Marketing and Boardroom to ensure smooth front of house.
• Supporting Paddle Registration during sales.
• Working on the Valuations desk, liaising with relevant Specialist, or providing referrals.
• Taking registration and bidding instructions from clients and Sotheby’s staff in person.
• Always complying with Security, Compliance and KYC guidelines.
• Occasionally supporting Cloakroom as necessary.
• Keeping the Front of House area and Catalogue displays immaculate.
• Providing exceptional client service on the counter for all sale activities.
• Supporting the Bids department with back-office tasks.
