BRILLIANT COMPUTERS CITADEL AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY is seeking a French-speaking DSS L1 Support Technician to provide onsite network and desktop support in Strasbourg, France.

The role focuses on first/second level network support, configuring devices, and maintaining network services. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in network support, familiarity with TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS/DHCP, and Cisco equipment, and strong troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in network support or a similar role.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, DNS, and DHCP.
• Experience with Cisco or similar networking equipment.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and ticketing systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Certifications such as CCNA or CompTIA Network+ are an advantage.
• Basic understanding of Windows Server environments and Active Directory is an advantage.

Responsabilités

• Provide first and second-level support for network-related incidents and service requests.
• Troubleshoot issues related to IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and network routing.
• Configure and support routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Monitor network performance and respond to alerts or outages.
• Maintain ticket updates and documentation for all reported incidents.
• Work with internal IT teams to resolve complex issues.
• Assist with network maintenance, upgrades, and implementation projects.
• Ensure timely communication on issue status and resolution.
