Job summary

Rippling is expanding its Global Payroll product, focusing on France as a key market. The role seeks a payroll-focused Compliance Specialist to translate French payroll regulations into product requirements and validate payroll logic.

You will collaborate with Legal Experts, Product Managers, Engineering, and Payroll Operations to ensure features are properly scoped, implemented, and maintained as regulations evolve. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, fully remote in France.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in French payroll
• Strong knowledge of French payroll fundamentals, contributions, taxes, exemptions, and edge cases
• Good understanding of DSN concepts, structures, and reporting constraints
• Ability to interpret payroll-related regulations and translate them into actionable product requirements

Responsibilities

• Regulatory & payroll compliance: monitor updates and impact on product logic
• Payroll requirements & documentation: produce detailed specifications and briefs
• Payroll logic validation: review and validate computations for accuracy
• DSN & contributions: scope, mapping, validation for accurate reporting
• Cross-functional collaboration: work with legal, product, engineering, and ops teams
• Contribute to scalability and continuous improvement of payroll workflow
