Obsidian is seeking a native French-speaking reviewer to assess AI-narrated audiobooks for naturalness, accuracy, and enjoyment. You will log errors, categorize issues, and report on listener satisfaction while maintaining careful attention across long listening sessions.

This remote, part-time role offers about 20 hours per week. You can be based anywhere, ideally in a region where French is spoken, with working English for team communication.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in French (France).
• Some working English to report clearly and communicate with the team.
• Experience with annotation, labeling, transcription, proofreading, linguistics, or other detail-oriented review work.
• Sharp, patient ear and discipline to stay accurate over long listening sessions.

Responsabilités

• Listen to AI-narrated audiobooks in French and assess naturalness, accuracy, and enjoyment of the narration.
• Spot and log errors in synthesized speech: skipped, added, mispronounced words, and pronunciation issues.
• Categorize issues and mark exact spans where they occur using review tooling.
• Report on overall listener satisfaction and where narration feels natural vs. breaks the experience.
• Work consistently across many hours of audio with high attention to detail.
