Mercor is hiring a Bilingual French Generalist Expert — AI Safety for remote work. You will write expert-level prompts in French on sensitive topics, apply guidelines to classify prompts, and flag adversarial phrasing while documenting your reasoning.

This contract role requires native or near-native French, business English, a Bachelor's degree, and strong attention to detail. You will work independently and with teams to ensure safe AI outputs, starting immediately.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native French; business-level English.
• Bachelor's degree, completed or in progress.
• Strong written reasoning and high attention to detail.
• Sound judgment around sensitive and dual-use information.

Responsabilités

• Write expert-level prompts in French across sensitive subject areas.
• Apply structured guidelines to classify prompts and conversations.
• Flag adversarial phrasings and escalation patterns. Document the reasoning behind your judgments.
• Work independently and asynchronously to improve AI model safety.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure cultural sensitivity and accuracy in AI model outputs.
