Job summary

Outlier connects subject-matter experts with paid AI training projects. As a Language Specialist, you will work remotely from France on live French conversations with an AI voice model, shaping how AI learns to respond in real conversations.

This flexible role pays up to $25 per hour, with weekly payments and incentives. Most experts contribute 5–10 hours weekly, choosing schedules that fit around other commitments.

Qualifications

• Native or highly fluent French speaker, comfortable with everyday conversations.
• Experience with improvisation, role-play, or unscripted performance.
• Customer-facing experience handling unscripted conversations.
• Experience evaluating or reviewing conversations or audio content (QA, call auditing, content moderation).

Responsibilities

• Participate in live, scenario-based conversation in French with an AI voice model.
• Listen to and review recorded French-language conversations, checking for guideline adherence.
• Score conversations on naturalness, helpfulness, and audio quality, and explain ratings.
• Choose the right response from two options and write simple prompts to start AI models.
• Edit and preview tasks related to the workflow.
