Who We Are

Zefir is building an AI autopilot for home sales in Europe, starting in France: an AI agent runs the entire sale and purchase journey end-to-end, orchestrating local brokers, portals, buyers, and documents.

Backed by €60 million from top-tier investors Sequoia Capital and Kima Ventures, we're committed to accelerating life changes for millions of current and future European homeowners.

The Mission

• Start: as soon as possible
• Duration: 1 month, renewable
• Location: Le Peletier office, Paris 9th, presence to be agreed together
• Schedule: full-time, morning routine delivered before 10 am, the rest of your time is yours to organize
• Other clients: possible as long as targets are met
• Status: freelance
• Pay: around €5,000 excl. VAT per month at target (daily rate of €175 excl. VAT + monthly variable: €50 per sourced candidate reaching the final interview, €500 per sourced hire)

Your Mission

Zefir is hiring across Sales, Engineering, Product and Ops, and the Talent team is the engine behind it. We are looking for a freelance talent sourcer to join the team, learn sourcing from our Founding Talent Lead, and run our AI recruiting workflows every day.

Think outbound prospecting, except your leads are candidates.

What You'll Do

Build and improve our AI recruiting workflows | About 30% of your time

Help shape how Zefir uses AI to find, assess and engage talent. Work with our Talent Lead to turn ideas into working automations, test them on real recruiting needs, and improve them through daily use.

• Build and experiment. Create and adapt workflows for candidate sourcing, scoring, outreach and recruiting dashboards.
• Test, learn, iterate. Try different prompts and approaches, review the results, and refine what works.
• Bring your recruiting judgment. Check AI recommendations against real candidate profiles and use what you learn to improve the next batch.
• Make the system better every day. Debug issues, remove repetitive steps, and spot opportunities to automate more of the groundwork.

Source candidates for our open roles | About 70% of your time

• Source profiles for open roles from the scorecard and the hiring manager brief.
• Expand the pool: past Ashby candidates, LinkedIn Recruiter, target companies.
• Add qualified leads to Ashby with a one-line rationale and prepare outreach drafts in Zefir's voice.

What You Bring

• A junior profile with a sharp, structured mind: you learn fast.
• A strong general education. No hard skills required.
• A first experience in outbound sales (ideally in a B2B startup) is a plus. We are not looking for a cold-calling specialist, but for someone who can run written outbound at volume: LinkedIn and email sequences, follow-ups, a clean CRM.
• No recruiting experience needed: our Talent Lead trains you on sourcing during your first weeks.
• You are comfortable with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Zapier, n8n…).
• You are rigorous with data, and you look for the cause of an error before escalating.
• Strong writing in French, working English.
• Freelance status, or ready to set one up.

1. 20-minute call with David (Talent Lead)
2. Practical case on site: live role-play on sourcing and outreach (nothing to prepare beforehand)
