Polène Paris is seeking a freelance Leathergoods Designer to join our Studio for project-based collaboration. You will work with a team to develop Polène’s leather goods and jewelry lines, translating creative concepts into sketches, specs and prototypes.

You will collaborate with Design, Collection and Sourcing teams in France and Spain, contributing to the evolution of Polène’s collections through hands-on prototyping and detailed technical development.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of handbag design experience.
• Strong leather goods construction techniques, leather materials & metal components.
• Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite and hand drawing.

Responsabilités

• Conduct creative research from briefs and build moodboards.
• Translate concepts into sketches, technical drawings, digital simulations and mock-ups.
• Create physical mock-ups and prototypes to test volumes, constructions and detailing.
• Develop technical specifications for manufacturing partners & support iterations.
• Collaborate with Design, Collection & Sourcing teams in France and Spain to develop products.
