Lever, Inc. is seeking a freelance 2D UI Artist based in France to create polished icons, props, and 2D UI assets for upcoming games. You will handle the full production pipeline from rough concepts to final renders and integrate assets within Unreal Engine 5.

The role is fully remote in a collaborative, international environment. The contract runs for four months with immediate start. Core collaboration hours are 10:00–16:00 CET, and the team operates across borders, including Romania, with

Qualifications

• At least 3 years as a 2D Artist/UI Artist focused on icons/2D UI assets.
• Proficient in Photoshop, Affinity, Procreate or similar tools.
• Strong rendering, color theory, and readability for small UI sizes.
• Experience with sprite sheets, asset optimization, and engine implementation.
• Experience with Unreal Engine is highly desirable.

Responsabilités

• Design and render high-quality 2D game icons and UI assets.
• Produce production-ready assets from sketches to final renders.
• Maintain visual language and style across UI assets.
• Follow art direction, palettes, and style references.
• Prepare assets for Unreal Engine 5 integration.
• Collaborate with UX and game teams and iterate from feedback.
