Qonto is seeking a Fraud Analyst to safeguard our German market customers from scams and fraudulent activities. You will join a newly created specialized fraud team and work on monitoring, analysis, and prevention across our onboarding and payment products.

You will collaborate with Risk and AML teams, conduct in-depth investigations, and contribute to process improvements. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in fraud detection or AML and are fluent in English and German.

Qualifications

• Experience: at least 1–2 years in fraud detection, AML, or similar field involving alert processing and investigation.
• Bilingual in English and German for primarily handling the German market.

Her path?

Adina joined Qonto in September 2025 as Fraud Lead Germany, leading the analysis of complex fraud cases and reviewing transaction flows. Before Qonto, she spent 2.5 years at PwC as a Financial Crime / AML Analyst, managing high-priority cases and building relationships with internal stakeholders to drive timely resolutions.

About You

• Experience: You have at least 1-2 year experience in fraud detection, AML, or a similar field involving alert processing and investigation
• Languages: You are bilingual in English and German, as you'll be primarily handling the German market
• Analytical mindset: You have strong analytical and creative thinking skills to detect patterns and solve complex fraud cases
• Communication skills: You can communicate effectively with customers and counterparties when gathering information about potential fraud cases
• Learning mindset: You're open to feedback and motivated to continuously improve your skills and knowledge
