Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific in France is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist (TSS) to drive growth across GC and GC-MS instrument portfolios. You will uncover opportunities, articulate value from sample to knowledge, and collaborate with CMD marketing, product management, and service teams to meet revenue goals.

The role is based anywhere in France with a hybrid work model, combining home-office flexibility with regional office engagement and field visits as needed.

Qualifications

• M.Sc. degree in Science or Business fields or relevant experience.
• 3–5 years of experience with gas chromatography and/or mass spectrometry instrumentation.
• Fluent in French and English; German is a plus.
• Excellent communication, influencing and presentation skills.
• Ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop customer relationships to drive revenue and adoption of Thermo Fisher products.
• Collaborate with country leads and sales teams on forecasts and strategies.
• Use Thermo Fisher sales tools to manage accounts, pipelines, and forecasting.
• Represent new product introductions (NPI) within the territory.
