Anthropic, a public benefit AI safety leader, seeks a Public Sector Sales Lead for France. You will define and execute the public sector GTM strategy, building trusted relationships with central ministries and senior government officials to win strategic agreements and scale safe AI deployments across the State.

Reporting to EMEA South leadership, you will collaborate with Policy, Partnerships, Legal and Security to ensure compliant, value-driven implementations.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in enterprise technology sales, including leadership in public sector
• Track record of landing large, complex government deals
• Strong network across central government in France
• Expertise in French public procurement, framework agreements and UGAP
• Experience in data sovereignty, security and regulatory discussions
• Willingness to engage in security clearance and cross‑functional work
• Fluent in French and English with excellent communications

Responsabilités

• Define and own Anthropic's public sector GTM strategy for France and first action plan
• Be the senior face of Anthropic to the French State, engaging with ministers and senior officials
• Own the full sales cycle from first engagement through procurement, deployment and expansion
• Coordinate with Partnerships, Legal and Finance to establish resale and framework routes
• Collaborate with Public Policy to align commercial strategy with policy and regulation
• Lead data sovereignty, security and compliance conversations with customers and internal teams
• Demonstrate value with cross-functional inputs and scale the effort over time
• Share learnings with UK/US public sector teams to accelerate France impact
