Imerys in France seeks a Plant Purchasing Manager to ensure compliance with the purchasing policy across 13 plants in central/north France, managing local opex/capex purchasing and RFQ processes. You will lead negotiations with suppliers, deploy the SCF program, optimize working capital, and ensure contract management and alignment with strategic sourcing guidelines.

The role requires strong English, governance knowledge, and the ability to influence stakeholders while delivering cost savings

Qualifications

• Bac +5 in purchasing or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in industrial purchase.
• Ability to promote best purchasing and procurement practices.
• Ability and willingness to understand the technical elements of the categories.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills both internally and externally.

Responsabilités

• Compliance with Purchasing Policy: ensure adherence to general purchasing procedures and supplier guidelines.
• In collaboration with the local procurer and the Procurement Hub, assist in change management and implementation of good purchasing practices.
• Be the Purchasing Manager for local opex / capex purchases; manage RFQs and lead negotiations.
• Contracting: lead complex negotiations and manage supplier contracts and performance.
• Deployment of the SCF Program: promote and deploy Supply Chain Financing across suppliers.
• Working Capital Optimization: leverage SCF to negotiate payment terms aligned with objectives.
• Management of Capex Purchasing (€100k – €1M) across France; autonomous management of major investments.
• Sourcing new suppliers and negotiating contracts; organize supplier reviews and monitor performance.
• Ensure state of the art service levels and reporting on financial performance and savings.
