Job summary

Verda is expanding its data centre footprint in France and is seeking a Data Centre Expansion Manager to own the end-to-end process of identifying and delivering new capacity within the French market. This role is commercially and technically intensive and requires thorough review of site proposals, due diligence, and driving procurement.

The successful candidate will manage RFI/RFP processes, vendor negotiations, and coordinate cross-functional teams across Construction, DC Operations,

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in data centre capacity acquisition or infrastructure real estate with hands-on experience in the French market.
• Ability to assess power, cooling, and connectivity requirements and ask the right questions.
• Experience reviewing inbound colocation proposals and running shortlisting processes.
• Proven track record in conducting RFI/RFP processes, evaluations, and supplier negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and develop data centre expansion opportunities in France.
• Review site proposals for power, cooling, connectivity, redundancy, density and security.
• Lead commercial negotiations and manage colocation contracts and vendor agreements.
• Coordinate with Construction, DC Operations, Hardware, Procurement and Legal to deliver projects on time and budget.
• Provide regular reporting on status, risks and developments to senior management.
