CompuGroup Medical is seeking a Bookkeeper for France to handle monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under French GAAP and IFRS for international entities. You will maintain and reconcile French books and coordinate with payroll and tax partners to ensure compliance with local laws.

Ideal candidates have several years in finance/accounting, a certified accountant or finance degree, strong Excel, and fluency in French and English; German knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Several years of relevant professional experience in finance or accounting, ideally in an international context.
• Excellent qualifications as a certified accountant or a completed degree in finance/accounting.
• In-depth knowledge of French GAAP; IFRS and/or HGB is a plus.
• Very strong Excel skills and confidence using reporting and analysis tools.
• Fluency in spoken and written French and English; knowledge of German is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Independent preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with French GAAP and IFRS for international companies.
• Maintenance, analysis, and reconciliation of local French GAAP books; reconcile differences with other standards.
• Collaborate with external payroll and tax partners to ensure compliance with local requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams (Accounts Payable/Receivable, Payroll, Business Controlling) to ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare and timely file local financial reports (sales tax, corporate tax prepayments, etc.) and serve as contact during annual closing for auditors, controllers, management and authorities.
