Job summary

AVENTA seeks an Offshore Operations Engineer to support the marine installation scope of a deepwater FPSO project. Based in Paris, you will prepare and follow offshore installation activities, from procedures and vessel interfaces through to offshore execution, covering suction piles, mooring lines, FPSO mooring hook-up, riser and umbilical hook-up and SWLP installation.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree (Naval, Mechanical, Offshore or equivalent).
• 5 to 10 years of offshore installation or marine operations experience.
• Hands-on exposure to mooring installation, FPSO hook-up or deepwater subsea installation campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Prepare installation procedures, method statements, task plans and risk assessments for all offshore phases.
• Support suction pile installation campaign planning and prep, including lift analysis and vessel requirements.
• Prepare mooring line pre-lay campaigns and associated vessel/equipment needs.
• Assist FPSO mooring hook-up and tensioning operations and station keeping planning.
• Support riser and umbilical hook-up activities on board the FPSO with contractors.
• Coordinate diving interfaces and SWLP/hose installation prep.
• Interface with engineering teams, vessel owners, equipment suppliers and subcontractors on technical requirements.
• Mobilise offshore to support installation campaigns.
