Infinite Orbits is seeking an experienced FPGA Team Lead to architect future satellite FPGA systems and lead the in‑house FPGA team in Toulouse. You will drive roadmaps, oversee verification, mentor engineers, and ensure high-reliability flight software integration with cross-disciplinary teams.

You will define end-to-end FPGA architectures, manage schedules and risks, and uphold rigorous design standards to support spaceflight requirements.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in designing, implementing and reviewing VHDL for FPGA-based systems.
• Experience in complex FPGA designs with clocking strategies, CDC and timing closure.
• Hands-on with peripheral interfaces: UART, SPI, CAN, Ethernet, DDR4, NAND Flash.
• Lead engineering teams, plan tasks, and manage risks; establish design standards.

Responsabilités

• Define end-to-end FPGA architectures and block designs from requirements for satellite equipment.
• Drive technology roadmaps to improve performance and identify new development opportunities.
• Collaborate with Systems and Software teams to integrate FPGA solutions with flight software and satellites.
• Lead, mentor, and grow the FPGA engineering team.
• Oversee task breakdown, resource allocation, schedule risk identification, and project delivery estimates.
• Manage technical relationships with external vendor and supplier leads.
• Establish and uphold design standards, VHDL coding guidelines and processes.
• Document design decisions, implementations, and testing protocols for compliance and future reference.
