Volta seeks a technical leader in Paris to act as the technical voice of the company. You will be hands-on at the start, shipping code and building the first Python integrations to client systems, then shaping the product for the French market and growing the FDE squad.

You will report to the CTO (based in Italy) and lead engineering in France, owning critical customer interactions and presales engagements while contributing to architecture and security posture in French engagements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building backend systems in Python for production workloads.
• Experience integrating ERP, WMS, PIM, EDI, or similar enterprise systems.
• Strong SQL across major DBs (PostgreSQL/MySQL/MSSQL/Oracle).
• Strong system design and distributed systems knowledge.
• Real client exposure and ability to run technical conversations in French.
• Leadership history and desire to build and lead a team.
• Fluent French and English with excellent technical communication.
• High autonomy; comfortable reporting to a CTO abroad.

Responsabilités

• Lead engineering in France, hands‑on from day one while shipping code.
• Design and build Python integrations connecting Volta to client systems.
• Be Volta’s technical voice in France; run technical kickoffs and presales.
• Own the customer relationship as the technical counterpart from first call to go‑live.
• Go wide on the product for the French market and contribute to the roadmap.
• Grow the team; hire, onboard and lead engineers in France.
