Job summary

Onatera is seeking a founding scientific leader to build a company‑wide scientific governance framework. You will work directly with the CEO to set high standards across brand, communications, retail, customer care, R&D, production and quality, driving cross‑functional projects and scientific credibility across Europe.

You will act as the scientific authority behind the brand, ensuring rigorous content and claims while guiding the organization through regulatory developments in the food

Qualifications

PhD in a relevant scientific field.
Deep knowledge of the food supplement industry.
Strong entrepreneurial mindset; autonomous and capable of leading cross‑functional projects.

Responsibilities

Advise and support the CEO as scientific right hand across the organization.
Safeguard scientific rigor of content, claims and communications.
Collaborate with R&D, production and quality to raise product scientific standards.
Equip brand, communications, retail, customer care and sales with reliable expertise.
Ensure scientific consistency across departments and flag issues early.
Train teams to raise scientific knowledge across the company.
Lead strategic cross‑functional projects end to end with autonomy.
Stay ahead of scientific and regulatory developments in the food supplement sector in France and Europe.
