Plato is hiring a Founding AI Engineer in Paris to turn cutting-edge AI into reliable production features for litigation professionals. You’ll work with the CTO at the intersection of AI, software engineering, and product to ship agentic workflows and robust data pipelines.

You’ll translate prototypes into production-ready components, optimize accuracy, latency, and cost, and collaborate with founders and users to solve real-world legal workflows.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a software or AI engineer.
• Experience shipping production systems.
• Familiarity with AI agents and evals is a plus.
• Paris-based location is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Build AI-powered product features used by lawyers.
• Shape the agentic stack with memory, sandboxes, code mode, and tools.
• Extract, structure and reason over large volumes of unstructured legal documents.
• Ensure production reliability, latency and cost optimization for AI systems.
