Plato is building the AI OS for litigation lawyers. We are looking for a Founding AI Engineer to turn advances in AI into reliable production systems, pairing with our CTO and founders to ship features used by legal professionals.

You will design autonomous workflows, handle large unstructured legal data, and drive production-ready AI capabilities in a fast-moving startup environment in Paris.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software or AI engineer experience building production AI features.
• Strong software foundation with TypeScript and production systems.
• Experience with agents and eval frameworks (Mastra, Langchain, Pydantic, Eve).

Responsabilités

• Build AI-powered product features used by lawyers.
• Turn prototypes into production-ready features and data pipelines.
• Evaluate agent outcomes and optimize for quality and cost.
• Collaborate with founders to shape product direction.
• Work at the intersection of AI, software and product
