Stakha is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to lead customer deployments and deploy our AI-powered QA platform in complex environments. The role is Paris-based with near-full onsite presence and European travel as needed.

You’ll own deployments across cloud, VPC, on-prem and air-gapped setups while ensuring reliability and rapid customer adoption. Fluency in FR and EN is required, with strong communication skills.

Stakha is recruiting a Forward Deployed Engineer (up to €100K) to join a fast-growing AI startup building an autonomous QA agent for software teams.

As AI makes writing and shipping code dramatically faster, software verification is becoming the next major bottleneck. Their product connects to specs, tickets, and codebases, understands what changes with every release, identifies what is actually at risk, and autonomously tests applications across real environments and devices.

The company recently raised $4M+, backed by top international VCs and 6 unicorn founders. With the product now moving into increasingly complex customer environments, the team is entering a key scaling phase — and needs an engineer who can bridge deep technical execution with customers in the field.

Project: AI-powered autonomous software testing

Team: Small engineering team, working closely with founders and Head of Engineering

Location: Paris – primarily onsite (5 days/week), with occasional flexibility and customer travel in Europe/US

Salary: up to €100K + equity

• 1–6 years of experience, with clear evidence of exceptional technical achievement.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals combined with experience operating production infrastructure.
• Experience deploying across complex environments: VPC, on-prem, private cloud, air-gapped or highly restricted infrastructure.
• Excellent debugging and analytical skills: comfortable investigating unfamiliar systems across software, networking and infrastructure.
• Fluent French and English, with excellent communication skills and previous customer-facing exposure.
• Comfortable taking ownership beyond implementation: deployment, reliability, troubleshooting and ultimately customer adoption.
• Strong signals of technical excellence - for example highly selective academic/professional environments, significant open-source contributions, entrepreneurial achievements, research, competitions or another exceptional and verifiable accomplishment.

Experience with Kubernetes operations, Linux, networking, mobile/device infrastructure, SRE or enterprise security environments is a plus rather than a requirement.

• Own technical customer deployments from initial setup through successful production adoption.
• Deploy the platform across cloud, VPC, on-prem and potentially fully air-gapped environments.
• Solve complex infrastructure, networking, security and reliability issues in environments you don’t control.
• Build and operate production infrastructure, including observability, incident response and capacity management.
• Work directly with customers to diagnose problems, explain technical trade-offs and unblock deployments.
• Feed recurring deployment and adoption challenges directly back into product and engineering decisions.
