Axiōma Search in Paris (hybrid and customer-site) is seeking an engineer to bridge enterprise workflows with frontier AI agents. You will identify high-value workflows, build solutions against real databases, APIs and internal tools, and integrate LLMs into client systems.

You’ll architect and deploy APIs, data pipelines and simple UIs, iterate from user feedback, and collaborate with product, research and engineering to turn deployments into reusable platform input.

Qualifications

• Writing and deploying production code.
• Experience shipping software used by real users.
• Hands-on with LLM integrations, RAG or agentic workflows.
• Fluent in a backend language (Python/Go/Node.js/Java).
• Experience integrating third-party APIs, databases and external systems.
• French and English, with regular customer-site availability in Paris.

VC-backed frontier AI start-up | Paris (hybrid and customer-site)

About

AI agents often work cleanly in demos and fall apart when they meet a customer’s real systems, data and constraints. Your job is to close that gap: identify an important multi-step workflow, integrate the necessary tools and ship something that proves value quickly.

You’ll join a VC-backed frontier AI start-up building agents that navigate software and complete enterprise workflows. The business is moving quickly into large organisations, and this team turns field deployments into improvements that the wider product can reuse.

You’ll embed with one customer at a time and spend around two days each week on-site. An Implementation Strategist handles much of the project management and stakeholder coordination, leaving this role approximately 80% hands-on and technical.

What you'll need

• A strong computer science or engineering foundation, with evidence of writing and deploying production code
• Experience shipping software that real users depend on
• Hands-on experience with LLM integrations, RAG or agentic workflows
• Fluency in a backend language such as Python, Go, Node.js or Java
• Experience integrating third-party APIs, databases and external systems
• Confidence working directly with enterprise customers under short deadlines
• Working French and English, plus regular availability for customer sites in Paris

Optional Bonus

• Experience in forward deployment, technical consulting or solutions engineering
• Familiarity with React, Vue or similar frontend frameworks
• Early-stage startup experience
