Mistral AI is seeking an Applied AI Engineer to help deploy cutting-edge GenAI solutions for enterprise customers. You will bridge research and real-world applications, working with researchers and engineers to deliver robust AI products and contribute to open-source codebases.

The role focuses on production deployment, client collaboration, and continuous improvement of models and capabilities in a fast-moving AI environment.

Qualifications

• Fluent English, 2+ years as a technical contributor (data scientist or software engineer) on AI-based products.
• Experience implementing AI/ML products with APIs, back-end and front-end interfaces.
• Experience in Fine-Tuning LLMs and tackling advanced RAG or agentic use cases.
• Strong Python coding skills and ability to explain complex tech to varied audiences.

Responsabilités

• Deploy AI solutions into production use cases with measurable business impact.
• Work on state-of-the-art GenAI applications across consumer and industrial use cases.
• Collaborate with researchers, AI engineers, and product engineers on complex projects (finetuning, LLMs, open-source codebases).
• Participate in pre-sales calls to understand client needs and provide technical guidance on products.
• Collaborate with product and science teams to continuously improve models based on customer feedback.
