NTU International seeks a Non-Key Expert – Forestry, Climate Change & Biodiversity to support technical assistance for EU-funded programmes in the Pacific, with Papua New Guinea as the primary assignment and potential missions across the Pacific region.

The candidate should have a university degree (postgraduate preferred), at least 6 years of relevant experience in developing countries, and excellent English communication. Travel ability to remote areas is expected within the Pacific.

Qualifications

• University degree, preferably postgraduate, in forestry, environmental sciences, natural resources management, biodiversity conservation, ecology, climate change or related fields.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to draft high-quality documents in a culturally sensitive context.
• Strong knowledge of forestry, climate change, biodiversity and natural resources management, contextualised to PNG and the Pacific region.
